There is one thing the photograph must contain, the humanity of the moment.”

ABOUT ME

I'm a photographer in Richfield, Utah and we love being in this small town raising our 5 littles!   I love all things chocolate, all things plants (if I could be a plant I would be a fern) rain, books, painting, yoga pants, messy buns, and being in the sun with my kids doing everything and nothing. My love for my kids is the reason why I started this journey. Those moments that are gone so fast and those chubby fingers and cheeks that only last for a tiny amount of time! As an adult I have no photos of how my life was growing up, no way to look back and recall all of those amazing moments and things that my parents did for me. no recollection of how I looked and changed and grew into myself until after I left the house. I don't want that for my children. I want them to spend time and be able to go back in time with those photos to remember those special days and that awkward toothless grin they had... They are my life and capturing those fleeting moments so they can look back on them for forever is what makes my heart soar.

What I have come to realize is that I love "Love". I love the look of admiration flowing from the eyes of a couple counting down the days until they're married. I love the  pure love that a newborn symbolizes. I love the smiles emanating from a mommy as she kisses her babies and squeezes her husband; the squeals of toddlers as they are tickled by their daddy. Being able to capture  these moments calls to my soul, and is why I continue this marvelous journey as a photographer.

"Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”
